The Voices of Angels
The voices of Angels could be heard throughout Benedict Court on the Campus of St. Benedict's Senior Community on December 7th when a group of PEO women came together to share the spirit of Christmas by caroling with the residents of this Assisted Living facility.
Residents came together to "listen to the voice of angels" according to one resident. The smiles and occassional tears on the faces of everyone participating in the caroling certainly led any observer to believe there were definitely angels among the group. Hearts of the residents both elderly and not so elderly were captured by the innocence of two very young carolers who sang boisterously and provided a little "bounce" to the songs. Residents could be heard humming a little ditty back to their apartments where the Christmas spirit continued to shine in their hearts. As one resident put it," My heart is swelling with the Christmas spirit of you angels in our midst." Thank you PEO for sharing your angelic voices.
